Svenska Spel tappar 49% i vinst under Q1 2024.

I rapporten för Q1 läser man att Svenska Spels vinst har gått ner med 49% jämfört med Q4 2023. Enligt rapporten är det flertalet anledningar till den minskade vinsten, bland annat kostnaderna i samband med att man stängt ner casinon i Göteborg samt Malmö men även de reducerade öppettiderna i statens enda kvarvarande casino.
En annan anledning påstås vara omstruktureringarna inom Vegas segmentet vilket lett till att Casino Cosmopol och Vegas avdelningarna av Svenska Spel har tappat 32% i vinst och landar totalt på 169 miljoner i omsättning.
Svenska Spels Sportbetting och Casino backar!
Parallellt med ovan nämnda områden tappar Svenska Spel omsättning även inom sportbetting och casino områden där anledningen anses vara på grund av poolbetting (Stryktips, Måltips, Lotto mm) spelens lägre omsättning.
Dock så har online spelandet hos SvS ökat med 6% till att nu bestå av 56% av bolagets omsättning där ‘Tur’ segmentet är den drivande delen. Logiskt nog är det EuroJackpot samt Triss som är de spelformer som ökat mest.
SvS vinst ner med 49%
Utöver de nämnda anledningarna med omstruktureringar av Vegas segmentet samt kostnaderna för nedläggning av diverse kasinon som stora kostnadsposter finns det en annan stor anledning till SvS minskade vinst – de dryga 100 miljonerna som bolaget måste betala i böter till staten.
De 49% i minskad vinst innebär ca 310 miljoner i total vinst för Q1.
