För er som inte hört talas om det genomförde polisen i Staffanstorp en razzia mot en pokerklubb tidigare i Juni där man under pågående spel anhöll arrangörer som misstänks för grova ekonomiska brott.
Eftersom utredningen fortfarande omgärdas av sekretess finns det inga dokument att förhålla sig till men enligt uppgifter är det fyra personer som är misstänkta för grov olovlig spelverksamhet, grova bokföringsbrott och näringspenningtvätt.
Man misstänks ha hanterat över 12 miljoner kronor sedan 2020.
Polisen har även genom husrannsakan hos de misstänkta beslagtagit datorer och telefoner som kan innehålla spår av bevis i form av banköverföringar, swish och meddelanden på olika plattformar.
De misstänkta personerna är släppta i väntan på att utredningen ska avslutas eftersom de antas inte att försvåra utredningen, det tyder på att det finns tillräckliga bevis för att åklagaren ska kunna gå vidare med ett åtal.
Razzian skedde efter en längre tids spaning och i samarbete mellan Ekobrottsmyndigheten, polis och civila utredare.
Är livepokern på väg att dö ut?
Med tanke på förslaget som riksdagen ska ta ett beslut om senare i år där det föreslås att det sista svenska statliga casinot också ska läggas ner samt att ingen ska driva ett casino på svensk mark i relation med hur många pokerklubbar som har licens i Sverige måste man fråga sig – “Är livepokern på väg att dö ut?”.
Eller kommer livepokern att bli förpassad till källaren igen?

Tittar vi på vårat grannland Norge som inte har casinon men ändå tillåter poker under vissa regler och lagar så borde också detta kunna gå att få till även i Sverige.“

Razzian mot en pokerklubb i Staffanstorp, är den början på en större insats mot illegala pokerklubbar i Sverige?
Både ja och nej får mitt svar bli.
De flesta av oss som spelar poker gör det på småklubbar som drivs helt ideellt och utan vinstintresse. Man kör en turnering i månaden med 20-30 personer, som är registrerade medlemmar i klubben. Inköpet oftast betydligt billigare än en kväll på krogen. Om det nu blir fler razzior, tror jag inte småklubbarna är det primära målet.
Regeringen kommer lämna ett förslag i höst till riksdagen att ta bort Svenska Spels möjligheter att driva fysiska kasinon. Det innebär inte att livepokern i Sverige kommer att försvinna/minska, men vad ska göras för att det ska bli bra? ”Det ska vara ordning och reda på den svenska spelmarknaden. Då måste regleringen hänga med när spelmarknaden förändras. Bärande delar i regeringens arbete är att fortsatt utveckla åtgärder som stoppar olicensierade spelaktörers framfart, motverka problemspelande, pressa undan brottslighet och skapa trygghet för de som spelar.” Så skriver Niklas Wykman (M) i sin debattartikel på Aftonbladet 7/5 2024.
Licensen kostar i dag 80 000 kr för en förening att ansöka om. Ett belopp man inte får tillbaka om licensen nekas. Sänk licensavgiften för de som vill idka vinstdrivande verksamhet och tillåt små ideella slutna föreningar att fortsätta med sina turneringar utan licens!
Då törs jag säga att regleringen, och regeringen, hänger med när spelmarknaden förändras!
Och där är vi i Svenska Pokerförbundet gärna med i diskussionerna!

Att lokala polismyndigheter och Spelinspektionen har koll på pokerklubbarna runt om i landet är inget nytt. Däremot en razzia som den i Skåne sticker ut för att det troligen finns något bakomliggande, om man får spekulera.
Vi ska inte trycka på panikknappen ännu men kanske att klubbar utan licens ska vidta vissa åtgärder när det kommer till hantering av likvida medel. Swish och banköverföringar får man nog se över. Att ha en registrerad förening som drivs som en förening ska räcker inte, man får inte främja spel om pengar – det får inte vara organiserat osv mm etc. Antingen går man under radarn eller så har man en licens. Det finns inget mellanläge.
De flesta klubbarna drivs av eldsjälar som tycker om att umgås runt pokerbordet och dessa klubbar, om vi ska kalla dom för det, omsätter inte så mycket pengar att det blir en stor summa i vinst. Vilken summa det nu än blir kvar när allt är betalt går oftast ändå in i verksamheten. Att förvänta sig att en klubb ska betala 80 000kr i licensavgift för att bedriva turneringsverksamhet som inte generar något större överskott visar bara att de som gjort utredningen som ligger till grund för rådande licensförfarande är horribelt okunniga när det kommer till poker. Inte ens cash game får man erbjuda enligt licensen. Då hade 80kkr varit någorlunda förståeligt.
Folk som bestämmer har ingen koll och allt spelar i händerna på de licensierade online sajterna som får ta emot trafik från livescenen. Sätter man igång en jakt på olicensierade klubbar kommer det även att spela i händerna på de som driver klubbar där spelet kommer i andra hand. Där bottenslammet av samhället frodas. En comeback för 80-talets klubbverksamhet där man lånar ut pengar mot ockerränta, där hälare säljer av stöldgods och där drogförsäljningen sker helt öppet. Perfekt, vi har ju inga andra problem i samhället.
Parallellt vill man stänga ner casinot i Stockholm och förbjuda casinon överlag i landet.
Nu saknas bara IP blockering så är vi som våra grannar i öst.

Det intressantaste med razzian mot Staffanstorpsklubben är att det är Ekobrottsmyndigheten som ligger bakom. De misstänker att klubben har omsatt cirka 12 miljoner kronor sedan 2020 (enligt svt/nyheter).
Alla vi som är inne i branschen fattar att den här höga omsättningen är totala spelarinköpen i tävlingarna, där det mesta sedan gått tillbaks till spelarna i form av vinster. Frågan är om tingsrätten fattar detta…
Staten kommer stänga ner det sista casinot i Sverige snart, och då finns det inte många lagliga ställen kvar att spela poker i Sverige. Det är naivt att tro att folk kommer gå hem och kolla på teve i stället för att gå till casinot, så pokerklubbarna kommer att öka i mängd runt om i landet.
Här tror jag Pokerförbundet skulle kunna göra en stor nytta. Det finns ju nämligen en helt laglig väg att gå, om man är en liten landsortsklubb som vill spela tävlingar på max fem bord med max runt 1000-lappen i inköp – Bilda en riktig förening och sök en klubblicens hos spelinspektionen! Pokerförbundet borde kunna skaffa sig kunskap om ansökningsprocessen (som lär vara jobbig) och hjälpa till med råd och dåd kring licensansökningarna.
Ja, licensen kostar en massa pengar, men vad kostar det inte att bli haffad av ekobrottsmyndigheten för grova bokföringsbrott och pengatvätt?
När polisen slår ner på ”oskyldigt pokerspelande” så här, så får det en reaktion som staten kanske inte tänkt på. Staffanstorpsklubben var relativt publik, med exempelvis en Facebookgrupp. Vad som riskerar ske är att klubbarna blir mer och mer hemliga. Med hemlighetsmakeriet kommer man börja spela andra spel än bara tävlingar. För att finansiera sig kanske man börjar kränga lite öl i baren. Man kanske ställer en enarmad bandit i något hörn. När polisen slår ner på de ”öppna klubbarna” så puttar man klubbarna åt helt fel håll, mer åt det olagliga hållet. Staten tror att man kommer sluta spela poker runt om i landet bara för att man slår ner på en klubb i Skåne, men det kommer ju inte ske. Svensken vill ju fortfarande spela kort.
